The parallel-twin engine delivers torque everywhere from idle to redline. You have more grunt down low, and can cruise easily on the open road. The narrow layout makes the bike shorter front-to-back. That means the front wheel can tuck in closer to the engine, shortening wheelbase and making the bike more nimble both on and off road.
The Africa Twin is as much at home on the open road as it is on the dirt. For that extra comfort when tou, cruise control is standard, so you can just relax and enjoy the view.
There are four default riding mode settings: TOUR, URBAN, GRAVEL and OFF-ROAD to cover most riding conditions and situations, plus two customisable USER settings.
Each mode has pre-set power, engine braking and ABS parameters.
In all modes (both default and user) the levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control and wheelie control can be adjusted to rider preference.
